Does one surf on, fly over or travel through the web? Let's say it: Internet as a traveling metaphor is quite too easy.

We would like to go further (even here), make a step forward, indicate new directions, not only "here" and "there", but also suggest a reason for the directions that we particularly liked, to which we moved by chance in so many years of flights, floating and traveling in the web. But it would be too ambitious a project. To get lost in the web is, after all, one of the activities that has conduced you till this web site… even this web site, then, is just a crossroads to other directions? Maybe.

As in all our travels, also those through the web sometime deserve a special mention, at least some notes written to remember our route. Websites to which we land like to islands we arrived to by chance, to which maybe we go back to, to fill our info tank or in which we grow roots because they look comfortable enough to deserve a long stay.

These pages should be updated at least with the same frequency we would like to update our travel pages. Any contribution and suggestion will be carefully considered and eventually inserted in these navigation maps, if in line with the spirit of Orizzontintorno.

Note: Travelling within the web can be interesting even if the subject is not strictly travelling. Our web travels often follow quite different routes.
